Gorosei Saturn immediately goes mad when he meets Luffy on Egghead Island, with the elder of the world government leaving the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates badly beaten. Meanwhile, in a separate storyline, Red Hair Pirates captain Shanks accidentally meets Eustass Kid, who is also on Elbaf Island. Shanks ensures that his steps are on the right path, while Luffy struggles with Gorosei Saturn, making him fall behind in the search for the One Piece treasure.
It is common knowledge among pirates in the One Piece universe that finding the treasure of Gol D. Roger, the “King of Pirates,” is the ultimate goal. Shanks, along with his entire fleet, heads to Elbaf to find the Road Poneglyph, which would lead him to Raftel. Poneglyphs are large stone blocks with inscriptions written in ancient letters, which hold secret information about the history of the world. There are three types of Poneglyphs – Historical, Instructional, and Road. It is believed that only one person in the world can read them – Nico Robin.
While Shanks heads to Elbaf, Luffy faces challenges on Egghead Island and is predicted to have a tough battle with Gorosei Saturn, who is heading for the same island. Luffy is determined to find the One Piece, as is Shanks. It is rumored that Shanks will find Uranus, which he will then give to Luffy to complete Roger’s unfinished task.
