The latest spoiler for One Piece 1081 is out, revealing the title “Captain of the 10th Ship: Kuzan,” which refers to Aokiji being confirmed as one of the captains of Bajak Laut Kurohige. The spoiler also includes a colorful cover featuring the Straw Hat Pirates’ crew sleeping on a floating balloon.
The chapter picks up where it left off, with Kuzan appearing and freezing Hibari. Coby comes to his rescue, and the spoiler shows Kuzan facing off against Garp, who is another member of Kurohige.
In a flashback, Garp and Aokiji are shown on an island one year after the Akainu vs Aokiji fight in Punk Hazard. Members of the Kurohige Pirate Crew arrive on the island and find other crewmates frozen, such as San Juan Wolf, Vasco Shot, and Doc Q.
The Kurohige Pirates enter a bar and encounter Kuzan, where they drink and socialize. Lafitte whispers to Teach to kill Kuzan and take his devil fruit power for their crew. Kuzan overhears this and becomes angry, preparing to fight them. However, Kurohige apologizes for Lafitte’s words and offers Aokiji to join them.
Teach then asks Kuzan about the man with the burn scars, who allegedly possesses the last Road Poneglyph. Shiryu suggests that he may be working for the World Government, which explains why they hold a Road Poneglyph, preventing pirates from reaching One Piece.
Kuzan denies knowing anything about the man, who he claims might be himself. He mentions the only memory he has regarding a Poneglyph is from Ohara, where he’d remember seeing a red stone.
The flashback ends, and the fight between Garp and Kuzan continues. Kuzan uses his signature move, Ice Ball, against Garp, but Garp easily breaks the ice and uses his new attack, Blue Hole, to destroy Kuzan’s body.
