“Not Safe for Work” is an intense action-thriller film directed by Joe Johnston that was released in 2014. Starring Max Minghella, JJ Feild, and Eloise Mumford, the movie tells the story of a legal assistant who witnesses the murder of his colleague and must try to stop the killer from destroying evidence related to a major case that their law firm was about to handle. The story is full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

The Plot

Thomas Miller (Max Minghella) works as a paralegal at a prestigious law firm in Los Angeles called Rosen, Byres, and Emmerich Attorneys at Law. His firm is about to handle a major case involving the Denning Pharmaceutical company. However, the day before the trial, John Ferguson (Michael Gladis), the key witness in the case, is found dead, allegedly by suicide.

Tom becomes entangled in the case when he accidentally witnesses a murder committed by a hitman hired by Denning Pharmaceutical to destroy evidence. With his firm’s reputation on the line, Tom tries to thwart the killer’s sinister plot to destroy the evidence and cover up the crime.

As Tom races against time to protect the evidence, he realizes that the hitman is one step ahead of him and that his own life is in danger. In a desperate attempt to uncover the truth, Tom must stay one step ahead of the killer and outsmart him before it’s too late.

The Cast

“Not Safe for Work” features an excellent cast that delivers standout performances. Minghella gives an understated yet intense portrayal of Tom Miller, a man desperate to uncover the truth about the case. JJ Feild gives an equally compelling performance as the hitman, who is cold, calculating, and always one step ahead of Tom.

Eloise Mumford rounds out the main cast as Anna, Tom’s secret girlfriend, who works as a secretary at the law firm. Despite limited screentime, Mumford delivers an excellent performance that adds to the movie’s tension and mystery.
