The story of shinobi world war is briefly depicted in the early part of the Naruto series. But in Naruto Shippuden, the fourth shinobi world war is described comprehensively. Throughout the wars, numerous exceptional shinobi fought, and some won while others lost. Nevertheless, there is always the strongest shinobi in every war period.
During the first shinobi world war, Hashirama Senju was the best war hero. The first war involved the five great shinobi countries. It began when Hashirama Senju started building Konohagakure, becoming the first Hokage. The war erupted due to an imbalance of power between the five great nations. Subsequently, peace efforts were made after the war by dividing the Konoha’s bijuu to the five great nations.
Hashirama Senju was not only strong in his literal sense of mastering various powerful jutsu. But he is the strongest because he could lower his pride and divide his power to the five other nations for world peace. Unfortunately, Hashirama’s dream of shinobi world peace did not occur, despite his utmost effort to balance their powers. The second and third shinobi world wars broke out again after the first one.
The fourth shinobi world war occurred when five great nations united to face a common enemy. It would change the world because they had to fight fiercely with Uchiha Madara, Akatsuki, and Kaguya Momoshiki. These were extraterrestrial creatures with extraordinary power. Previously, wars erupted between one nation and another. However, the fourth shinobi world war became the last war of the shinobi world.
During the last war, Naruto became the strongest hero. Initially, he could not control the power of Kurama, but he worked together with Kurama, resulting in extraordinary strength. Even though many characters were involved during the war, including the four edo-tensei Konoha kage, Naruto was rightfully the strongest hero of the war.
In conclusion, throughout the four shinobi wars, there have been countless powerful shinobi warriors. However, Hashirama Senju and Naruto earned the right as the strongest shinobi in the first and the fourth shinobi world wars, respectively. The theme of balancing power to achieve world peace resonated throughout the wars, but it remains a dream to date.
