My Hero Academia: Two Main Characters Who Are Not Afraid to Shed Tears

My Hero Academia is an anime series about children who live in a world where 80 percent of the population has unique powers. The kids in the series are future heroes who attend U.A, a school for aspiring heroes. However, even as future heroes, some of them, including the main characters, often express their emotions by crying.

Here are two main characters in My Hero Academia who shed tears:

1. Izuku Midoriya

The main character in My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya, is the one who cries the most. Despite being the protagonist, his crying is often criticized by the fans. However, this is not something that he should be ashamed of.

Midoriya or “Deku” is an initially weak character who was often bullied, including by Bakugo. He grew up without any special abilities, which meant that he belonged to the 20 percent of the population who didn’t have any powers. Nevertheless, he has always dreamed of becoming a hero like All Might. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the resources to become a hero. As a result, he grew up feeling sad and often cried.

However, everything changed when he met his idol, All Might. The encounter was a turning point in his life. Midoriya successfully touched All Might’s heart, and he was given One For All, a power that could be inherited. He then enrolled in U.A, and his strength continued to grow. Nonetheless, he still cries from time to time.

2. Katsuki Bakugo

Katsuki Bakugo, also known as Kacchan, is another aspiring hero who isn’t afraid of shedding tears. Although he was blessed with unique abilities since childhood, he couldn’t help but cry when he found out that Midoriya, whom he bullied, had tremendous power that he had never imagined. Since Midoriya got One For All, his abilities surpassed Bakugo’s, and his ego was damaged. This was the first time Bakugo cried.

Later on, he also cried because of his guilt towards All Might even though it was not entirely his fault. Because of Bakugo’s actions, All Might had to retire. Despite his tough exterior, Katsuki is a teenager who is shattered by the weight of the expectations placed on him as a hero.

In conclusion, My Hero Academia is a series that portrays the emotional lives of its characters. The two main characters, Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo, may be future heroes, but they are not immune to shedding tears. From sadness to happiness to guilt, they express their emotions through their tears. In the end, this makes them more human and relatable to the audience.
