Garp’s physical strength is exceptional, even in his old age. He can easily throw cannonballs, and in chapter 438, Zoro realizes that Garp’s throws are faster than actual cannon fire. In episode 313, we see how fast Garp is as he visits the Straw Hat Pirates. Sanji, Chopper, and Franky were wary of the Navy’s arrival, but Garp breezes past them and manages to punch Luffy instantaneously. It’s impressive to see how even in his old age, Garp’s speed is exceptional.
4. Toughness
In a One Piece manga cover story called the Diary of Koby-Meppo, we see Garp taking a severe blow from Morgan. Although he was wearing a dog mask, Garp recovers quickly and states he just fell asleep. This incident shows Garp’s incredible durability.
