Meet the Cast of One Piece Live-Action: Premiere Date Announced

Get ready, fellow One Piece fans! The One Piece live-action series is set to premiere soon on Netflix with an eight-episode first season starting August 31, 2023. The highly-anticipated adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s iconic manga has officially released a teaser and has revealed the cast of characters to watch out for. So, let’s get to know the cast of One Piece Live-Action:

Monkey D. Luffy will be played by Iñaki Godoy, while Mackenyu will portray Roronoa Zoro, and Emily Rudd as Nami. Taz Skylar will play Vinsmoke Sanji, and Jacob Romero Gibson will play Usopp. The teaser gives us glimpses of the actors in character, showing off Luffy’s signature move Gomu Gomu no Mi and providing a hint of his dream of becoming Pirate King.

Aside from the main characters, the live-action One Piece will introduce other beloved characters, both allies and enemies to the audience. Peter Gadiot, Ntlanhla Morgan, Tamer Burjaq, Morgan Davies, Aidan Scott, Langley Kirkwood, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, and Richard Wright-Firth will play their respective roles when the story reaches Arc Romance Dawn. Jeff Ward, Sven Ruygrok, and Lindsay Reardon will portray Buggy the Clown, Cabaji, and Mayor Boodle when the arc reached Orange Town. Meanwhile, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, Bianca Oosthuizen, Chanté Grainger, and Kamdynn Gary will play Kaya, Kuro, Sham, Banchina, and Rika when the series reaches the Syrup Village.

Craig Fairbrass, Jean Henry, Amber Hossack, and Steven Ward will portray Zeff, Fullbody, Moodie, and Dracule Mihawk, respectively, when the story enters the Baratie arc. And finally, McKinley Belcher III, Chioma Umeala, Grant Ross, Len-Barry Simons, Acton Burnell, and Vincent Regan will play the roles of Arlong, Nojiko, Genzo, Chu, Nezumi, and Monkey D. Garp.
