Kurohige’s Appearance in One Piece 1079 Hints at His Involvement in the Big Fight

One Piece always delivers surprising twists in every manga chapter. In One Piece 1079, one of the shocking moments is the appearance of Blackbeard’s pirate crew, led by Kurohige. The ship of Kurohige is seen on the coast of Egghead Island, indicating his possible involvement in the tremendous battle between Luffy and the World Government.

Fans have speculated that Kurohige may have a hidden agenda in Egghead Island, but there’s little information about it yet. However, before his arrival on the island, Kurohige had already engaged in a battle with Trafalgar Law. It was a fight to gain a copy of a Road Poneglyph, and the outcome was uncertain. Still, many believe that Kurohige might have defeated Law, who is a skilled pirate and a former Warlord of the Sea.

Despite Kurohige’s injury from their fight, his power of darkness healed him. If he indeed succeeded in obtaining the Road Poneglyph, it means he now possesses two copies, making him the pirate closest to finding One Piece. So far, only Gol D. Roger has reached Laugh Tale, but as Shirohige said before his death, Kurohige is not the one Roger was waiting for.
