Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Trailer Released: What Fans Can Expect from Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto’s Return
Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen have been eagerly awaiting the release of Season 2, and yesterday, Toho Animation dropped the highly anticipated trailer on their official YouTube channel. This season marks the second film produced by Toho Animation after the release of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in cinemas last year. The return of the aces Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto at Tokyo Jujutsu High promises an action-packed adventure that will keep fans on the edge of their seats.
In Season 2, Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto receive a request from Tengen, the strongest character in Jujutsu with immortal techniques. The request is to protect and escort Riko Amanai, a star plasma vessel and the face of Master Tengen. However, their mission puts Gojo and Geto face to face with Fushiguro Toji, a witch from the Clan.
Gojo has the innate Limitless technique and the incredibly powerful Six Eyes that make him one of the top-ranking Class Special sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen, together with Yuki Tsukumo, Geto, Suguru, Yuta Okkotsu, and Gojo Satoru. Each sorcerer boasts unique abilities, such as Yuta’s cursed technique “Rika,” which lets him tap into an endless source of cursed energy when Rika connects via her ring.
Gojo can enhance his powers with the Reversed Limitless: Red technique, primarily used for healing but also offensively. However, Yuta’s power level still pales in comparison to Gojo’s, whose Limitless technique gives him absolute control over space at the atomic level. When he uses his innate technique, “Infinity” becomes the most famous form of Limitless.
During Infinity’s activation, no opponent stands a chance of getting close to him, as they will slow down and never be able to reach Gojo. Furthermore, the Limitless technique can also surround him with invisible barriers that halt all attacks, making him impossible to hit. He also possesses the ability to manipulate Cursed Spirits, allowing him to summon and control cursed spirits in the same way that sorcerers control shikigami.
Apart from Gojo and Yuta, Yuki Tsukumo has the ability to apply virtual mass of any amount to herself without altering her appearance or actual weight using her Mess technique.
