Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece anime series, never fails to surprise fans with his unexpected twists and turns. In fact, he often drops hints about future events in the show. Recently, rumors have been circulating that Oda is preparing Zoro to resemble Silver Rayleigh of One Piece.
According to Animepedia on YouTube, Oda has been slowly making Zoro look more like Rayleigh, with identical wound marks on his chest and eye. Although the location of their wounds differs, it still affects Zoro’s character the same way it did with Rayleigh. Additionally, both characters share a similar trait of being skilled swordsmen.
It’s intriguing to note that both Rayleigh and Zoro are former vice-captains of different pirate crews who did not use Devil Fruit powers. This similarity has led Zoro to be seen by some fans as the heir to Rayleigh’s legacy in One Piece. Although their fighting styles differ greatly, they share the same type of Haki.
Silver Rayleigh was known for his strength and being the vice-captain of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, and it seems Zoro follows this same path with Luffy, who has the same potential to become Pirate King. If Zoro truly is Rayleigh’s heir, then Luffy’s journey towards becoming a Pirate King is looking even more promising. Zoro’s dream to become the strongest swordsman in One Piece will also soon become a reality.
