The High & Low series introduces a new movie titled High & Low The Movie 2: End of Sky. This movie continues from season 2 of the High & Low drama series. The plot revolves around Kohaku, the former leader of the powerful and legendary Mugen gang. Our protagonist is struck with grief over the death of his close friend, Tatsuya. Kohaku is then approached by a Korean mafia member, Lee of the Chan Sung alliance. Lee persuades Kohaku to join his plan which is to take over the district currently controlled by the SWORD.
The Chan Sung alliance and the Grup Kuryu request the help of other notorious gangs, such as DOUBT and Mighty Warriors, to create chaos in the SWORD controlled district. The story is set in a city protected by five gangs that form what is known as the SWORD district. The Mighty Warriors, a new and enigmatic gang, emerge and immediately challenge the power of the established gangs. Meanwhile, Doubt is a recruitment group that uses various means to acquire money. Notably, Doubt’s leader is a legendary man.
Since the arrival of the new gang, chaos has erupted in the SWORD district. There has been a bombing in the Rude Boys area leading to the destruction of the district and several casualties. It is highly probable that the new gang, the Mighty Warriors, masterminded the attack in the Rude Boys district.
The situation infuriates the leader of Rude Boys, Smoky, leading to a retaliation attack. However, all gangs, including Sanno Rengokai, are also targeted by the new gang. There are heavy casualties in SWORD’s gangs, and this makes Cobra suspicious that someone is targeting their district. Kohaku, who suddenly appears in front of Cobra and Yamato, indicates that he is going to take over the entire SWORD district. This developmento has made Cobra even more suspicious of Kohaku.
Meanwhile, in another location, Doubt has kidnapped Lala, Smoky’s sister. Simultaneously, Kohaku is planning to destroy SWORD within two days. A flashback reveals when Lee first met Kohaku. At that time, Lee claimed that one of Kohaku’s friends was killed by the Kuryu Grup to weaken the Mugen gang. He even provided evidence of the person responsible and said he could help Kohaku. Lee plans to take over the SWORD district and to bring down the Kuryu Grup. He tells Kohaku that they have the same goal.
Tsukumo informs Yamato and Cobra of the upcoming attack in two days led by Kohaku, with 500 members from Doubt and Mighty Warriors. Tsukumo also reveals Kohaku’s true motive, which is to avenge Tatsuya’s death, who was killed by the Kuryu Grup. However, Cobra does not understand why Kohaku wants to destroy the SWORD district to get revenge against the Kuryu Grup. Tsukumo also asks Cobra to give Kohaku an object upon completion of his goal.
Noboru then appears, providing the information he gathered, from Kohaku’s motive to how he recruits 500 members to the recent happenings in the area. The Amamiya Brothers plan to help Smoky save his sister because there might be a clue to their missing sibling.
In this chapter, the gengs – The Sanno Rengoku, Oya Koukou, White Rascals, Rude Boys and Daruma Ikka – ally themselves to form the SWORD alliance. They have a common mission to stop Kohaku and protect the SWORD district. A ferocious battle between the SWORD alliance and the Doubt and Mighty Warriors ensues. However, the SWORD alliance is overwhelmed as the number of their adversaries is too great. The Amamiya brothers join the fight, and this boosts the morale of the SWORD alliance.
