Gecko Moria Returns and Seeks Revenge on Kurohige in One Piece Chapter 1087

Eiichiro Oda has done it again by bringing back a character thought to have been dead. The said character is Gecko Moria, a former Shichibukai who was last seen in chapter 1059 of One Piece. In that chapter, Moria was shown to attack Kurohige’s headquarters to save his subordinate, Absalom. Unfortunately, Moria was no match for Kurohige’s strong subordinates and was defeated by Shiryu.

But in chapter 1087, it is reported that Moria has returned and is ready to seek revenge on Kurohige. He does so because Kurohige had killed and taken the power of his favorite subordinate. In this chapter, Moria is seen successfully escaping from the Hachinosu prison with Coby and other prisoners. Rather than securing himself and leaving the island, Moria instead sets out to find Kurohige.

Moria aims to take Kurohige’s shadow to create the strongest zombie army in the world. He has done this before with Luffy and Brook, but they managed to defeat him and retrieve their shadows. However, his plan this time is much more challenging, given that Kurohige is a Yonkou, not an ordinary pirate. But if Moria’s plan succeeds, the cruelest zombie army in the world will be created.

This will be an uphill battle for Moria, but he is determined to avenge the loss of his subordinate. Kurohige possesses the powerful Gura Gura no mi and Yami Yami no mi, which are known to have extraordinary abilities. If Moria can get his hands on Kurohige’s shadow, he will be able to create an unstoppable army. It remains to be seen whether he can achieve his goal, but it is undoubtedly an exciting development for One Piece fans.
