Anime – Some characters in the anime world are categorized as heroes. They generally possess special powers, but are still portrayed as flawed humans who make mistakes. Here are four heroic characters in the anime world who have made major mistakes.

1. Uchiha Sasuke (Naruto)

Sasuke made two big mistakes in the Naruto series. Firstly, he left the Konoha village and became Orochimaru’s apprentice, who was an enemy of Konoha. Secondly, he fought against his teammate, Naruto. Sasuke left Konoha to seek power from Orochimaru, who had already put a curse on him. At that time, Sasuke was consumed by his vengeance and hatred towards his brother, Uchiha Itachi, who had killed their entire clan. Although Sasuke’s intentions can be understood, his departure caused problems within Konoha.

Sasuke managed to redeem himself slightly by helping the shinobi alliance in the fourth Shinobi World War. After realizing his mistake and returning to Konoha, Sasuke had to make amends for his actions for the good of the Uchiha clan. Later in the anime series Boruto, Sasuke did everything he could for Konoha and even cleared the Uchiha clan’s name.

Takemichi then repeats time and tries to fix the future by eliminating mistakes in the past. However, despite going back several times, Takemichi still makes various mistakes. He still cannot save his girlfriend Hinata or his friends in Toman.

4. Light Yagami (Death Note)

Light Yagami, the protagonist of Death Note, is portrayed as a genius high school student who finds a notebook, which has the ability to kill anyone whose name is written in it. Light decides to use the notebook to cleanse the world of evil and become its new ruler. But as he continues to use the notebook, he becomes more corrupt and maniacal. He starts to view himself as a god, and those who disagree with him are considered as enemies. In the end, Light’s actions lead to his own downfall.
