The official website of the anime series, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, announced that episode 293, which will air on March 26, will mark the end of Part 1. The website also confirmed that the production for Boruto Part II has been given the green light. Unfortunately, the announcement did not include any estimated time for the release of Part II.
The upcoming break for the Boruto anime in April will be the longest in Naruto-Boruto history. The anime series Boruto is adapted from the manga series of the same name, created by Masashi Kishimoto, that began in November 2014. Boruto made its big debut on August 7, 2015, with Boruto: Naruto the Movie.
In May 2016, Weekly Shonen Jump launched the Boruto manga series. Serial manga Boruto was written by Ukyo Kodachi for chapters 1-51 and continued by Masashi Kishimoto and his assistant Mikio Ikemoto for Chapter 52.
The manga version of Boruto was adapted into a serial anime in April of 2017. In this anime series, Boruto is depicted as a frustrated child who always gets overshadowed by his father, the Seventh Hokage, Naruto. To build his own identity as a shinobi, Boruto seeks training and guidance from Uchiha Sasuke.
Boruto’s adventures become more exciting with the addition of his fellow Konoha shinobi, especially his teammates Uchiha Sarada and Mitsuki. The show has now reached Arc Code episode 290 and features a fierce battle between Code and Kawaki.
The upcoming break in the Boruto anime series is causing concerns among Naruto fans, who have criticized the visuals and storytelling in the Boruto anime as falling short of the original. Sasuke’s Story: The Uchiha and The Heavenly Stardust is one such storyline that has been heavily criticized for lacking substance.
Despite the criticisms, the announcement of Boruto Part II is good news for fans. We can look forward to Part II with renewed hopes that it will meet the expectations of Naruto fans. Farewell to Part 1 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will be aired on March 26, make sure to catch it!
