Discover the Myers-Briggs Personality Types of Attack on Titan Characters

Posted on

Attack on Titan, one of the most popular anime series in history, boasts a series of characters with interesting personalities that are often relatable to people in the real world. The premise of the series also helps shape their personalities. To determine the personality of each character, the Myers-Briggs Personality Types or MBTI can be used. MBTI provides information about a person’s traits and is a fun experiment for fans to match their personalities with Attack on Titan’s characters. Based on this personality test, most of the important characters in this series are introverts, but of course, they are not the same introverts. So what are the Attack on Titan characters like according to their MBTI test? Let’s find out what SportsKeeda has to say!

1. ISFP – Eren Jaeger

Eren is the protagonist who later becomes the antagonist in the series. Despite the confusion in his moral compass, Eren remains a popular fan favorite in Attack on Titan. He is driven by his enthusiasm, which sometimes makes him act before he’s ready. Eren has a strong sense of morality, but as he grows older and wiser, his principles become more ambitious. He develops a cold and calculating personality due to the many deaths he has witnessed.

2. ISTJ – Mikasa Ackerman

From her personality traits, Mikasa appears to be an introvert because she doesn’t show any extrovert-related characteristics. Although she doesn’t have the ambition to be active or achieve something grand, she hopes to spend the rest of her life peacefully with Eren. Mikasa is a feeling type, displaying little signs of intuition, which cannot be denied. Now, Mikasa’s logical nature seems to be a more debatable issue. Her lack of expression, mental confusion in resolving conflict, and lack of emotional life outside of her core connection have become her character’s storyline.

3. INFJ – Armin Arlert

Advocates like Armin might be the rarest of all personality types. But, he creates a lasting impression wherever he goes. He doesn’t want to just live life, but prefers to step forward and make a mark with his ideas and moral approaches. The success for an advocate’s personality is not based on money or position, but on finding happiness, helping others, and having a positive influence in the world. Armin is one of the most articulate INFJs. He is also a great team member. He is always curious to solve more complex problems and a smart tactician. His behavior shows that he cares and understands people who interact with him.

4. ISTP – Levi Ackerman

Virtuosos like Levi are a rare type of person who combines bravery with practicality. Virtuosos are recognized for their intellectual skills and abilities to improvise, making them proficient in tackling difficult problems. Virtuosos’ thirst for knowledge is a professional and personal development gift. Unlike his extroverted colleague, Levi’s mind comes from a subjective basis, not factual evidence. He pursues his thoughts silently. This series can convey Levi’s strong conviction in his specific viewpoint preferences, which he prefers to keep to himself. On the other hand, such ideas are based on personal experience and feelings outside the world he lives in. Therefore, there is an internal logic system in place.

5. ENTJ – Erwin Smith

Commanders like Erwin can overcome or surpass challenges that seem difficult for the average person. Talents such as the tendency to rationalize anything cause misinterpretation. This happens when all the misunderstandings lead to an end. Erwin’s life mission targets opportunities that allow him to develop his talents and use them in interesting and promising projects. His goal is to establish an objectively directed intellectual formula to organize himself and his environment. This formula can be used to evaluate what is right and wrong.

6. ENTP – Hange Zoe

SportsKeeda states that Hange’s personality isn’t clear since there isn’t much information to analyze. With the information they could gather, they suggest that Hange is an extrovert judging from her nature to explore freely. She is also analytical and curious when it comes to discovering new things and looking for unexplained phenomena. ENTPs strive to understand the world around them and are keen to seek knowledge through exploring new avenues.
