Synopsis
Nels Coxman, a newly awarded Citizen of the Year in the small town of Kehoe, is shocked to find out that his son died of an overdose. Believing that something is off with his son’s death, Nels sets out to track down his killer. Despite receiving no assistance from the police, Nels begins his investigation with a glimmer of hope from his colleagues.
Dante, Kyle’s co-worker, reveals to Nels his link to the drug cartel business, where Kyle is an unfortunate victim of mistaken identity. Nels immediately tracks down Kyle’s killer and seeks answers from Limbo, a wedding dress shop owner tied to the cartel. Upon finding his desired information, he seeks vengeance on the killer and disposes of the body in a river.
Meanwhile, Viking, the leader of one of the largest drug cartels in Denver, is furious about his missing three cronies. Looking for answers, Viking accuses his rival cartel, White Bull, of having a hand in the disappearances. Viking captures one of White Bull’s associates and hangs him by the city’s highway as a warning. Meanwhile, Nels prompted his brother, Wingman, to help him solve the issue.
