Buggy’s Ambition and Haki Training in One Piece Chapter 1082

In One Piece chapter 1082, Buggy the Clown finally revealed his ambitious dream of becoming the pirate King. He announced it openly to his dozens of subordinates, but his ambition was opposed by two of the Cross Guild’s top members, Mihawk and Crocodile. They did not support Buggy’s dream as they were aware that his strength was not yet up to par.

Buggy’s ambition to become a Yonko was not without reason as he achieved it without any confrontation against a previous Yonko, unlike Luffy and Blackbeard, who had to fight Yonkos to gain their status. However, Buggy is considered the weakest among the Yonkos.

Despite being the weakest, Buggy is known to have Haki, which is equivalent to Shanks and Roger. However, he had not used it in the past because he lacked the drive to do so. Only in Chapter 1082, Buggy found the ambition he needed to activate his king’s Haki. Interestingly, the person who trained Buggy to master his Haki was also the one who trained Luffy – Rayleigh.

Rayleigh was once part of Roger’s pirate crew and had previously sailed with Buggy. Therefore, Buggy took the opportunity to learn Haki from Rayleigh. With the knowledge and training he received, Buggy could be a force to be reckoned with, and the Roger pirates would become even more renowned.
