Boruto Anime Announces Part 1 Ending with Episode 293
The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime is set to conclude its Part 1 with Episode 293, which will be aired in late March. As of now, the anime has reached Episode 290, which is still within the Arc Code. This arc is one of the most anticipated parts of the Boruto manga, and it has just been introduced in the anime version.
According to Anime News, the Boruto anime will go on hiatus for three months, which is the first time ever since it began airing in April 2017. Following the announcement, various rumors have circulated on social media. However, there are actually some rational reasons that could be accepted by the fans.
The Boruto manga version has already released up until Chapter 78 and it is still ongoing. The manga version is released once a month. Meanwhile, the anime version, Episode 290, refers to manga episode 63. This means that the anime version of Boruto, which is aired once a week, is considered too fast. Thus, the anime version needs to take a break to ensure the visual production version of the anime is more optimal.
Apart from being considered too fast, the Boruto anime version also has the possibility of being turned into a seasonal anime that requires sufficient time and resources. Moreover, the anime version of Boruto is said to have finished its contract with TV Tokyo. Therefore, a break is needed in order to extend or change the contract.
After the hiatus, the Boruto anime will return with Episode 287, which marks the beginning of the Arc Code. Next, Episode 291 will be aired, which is still within the Arc Code and titled “Control.”
In Boruto Episode 290, Code is shown to visit Konoha to bring Kawaki. This is because Code’s comrade, Eida, forbids Code from killing Kawaki. Hence, Code is only allowed to bring Kawaki. However, it is not easy to bring Kawaki, even though Code is very strong. Kawaki and Code engage in a fight, and at the right time, Boruto arrives. This means that the next episode is likely to depict the clash between Code and Boruto.
