Blue Lock Episode 23 Review: Bachira’s Evolution Leads to Red Team’s Victory

Posted on

The latest episode of the anime Blue Lock, episode 23, concluded with the defeat of Yoichi Isagi’s white team against Itoshi Rin’s red team. The intense match between Yoichi Isagi’s group and Itoshi Rin’s group, which ended in a draw in episode 22, ultimately resulted in a 5-4 victory for Itoshi Rin’s team, enabling them to advance to the next round.

As per the rules, the winning team that advances to the next stage must choose one player from the losing team. Previously, Isagi had lost against Rin Itoshi, and had to lose his closest companion, Bachira. However, in a surprising turn of events, it was not Isagi who won the game and captured Bachira, but Bachira’s team that won and claimed Isagi.

The fifth goal scored by Rin Itoshi’s team became the deciding goal, and while it was a shot by Rin Itoshi, it was made possible through Bachira’s effort. The latest episode also marked a turning point for Bachira. He was previously a supporting cast member on the field, always passing the ball to the main player. However, he now has the courage to go solo, although his attempt was blocked by Isagi. Nevertheless, it was Bachira’s ball-handling that broke through the enemy’s defense, enabling Rin Itoshi to score the final goal.

Bachira’s evolution proved he could also become a main player on the field, just like Itoshi or Isagi. The turning point for Bachira occurred when he felt afraid of being left alone. In the previous episode, Bachira saw Rin Itoshi and Yoichi Isagi having fun playing, as if the game was meant only for them. Furthermore, Bachira previously assumed that Rin and Isagi, like him, had monsters within them.

When Bachira felt afraid of being left behind by Isagi and Itoshi, he forced himself to evolve. Previously a supporting character on the field, throwing the ball to the main player, he can now play by himself and penetrate the enemy’s defense. He almost scored a goal on his own.

In conclusion, episode 23 of Blue Lock is an intense match filled with victory and evolution. Bachira’s evolution is the highlight of the episode, leading to the red team’s decisive win. It will be exciting to see what developments continue to unfold in the upcoming episodes.
