The latest episode of Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2, episode 8, showcases the union of Annie Leonhart, the female Titan, and Armin, the colossal Titan. As the remaining members of the Scout Regiment, Armin and his team invite Gabi, Reiner, and some of the Marley group to join them in fighting against Eren Yeager’s planned genocide. They must set aside their grudges, remove their egos, and work together to battle against the annihilation of humanity.

After the rumbling caused by Eren, both Paradise Island and Marley lie in ruins. Some rational individuals like Armin and Mikasa consider Eren’s plan to be a disaster for humanity, so they resolve to stop him, including his supporters in the Jeagerist group led by Floch. Floch blindly supports Eren’s plan and eliminates anyone who opposes it.

Subsequently, the conflict arises between Eren and the Jeagerists versus Armin and his team together with Marley. Of course, each group fights for humanity. The most ironic aspect of Eren’s plan is that Eren and his group become trapped in hatred and ultimately do what they have always despised Marley for doing. Eren proves to the world that Eldians are monsters deserving of hatred, and history repeats itself as Eldians begin to oppress other nations.

Thus, there is no difference between Eldia and Marley anymore, as both reject peace and prioritize war. When Wall Maria was first breached by Reiner and Bertholdt, the Eldians on Paradise Island were treated as victims. They had no knowledge of what was happening outside the wall or about their own nation’s history. They were isolated due to the actions of their king, Karl Fritz, who erased Eldian memories on Paradise Island.

On the other hand, the Marleyans who have seven stolen Titan powers used their powers recklessly as they sought revenge against the Eldians in Liberio or Paradise Island. Instead of utilizing their Titan powers for peace, they employed them for violence, just as the Eldians had done before.

Now that the balance of power favors the Eldians, Eren Yeager employs that same tactic and takes it to the next level through genocidal attacks. If Eren’s plan goes unchecked, peace on earth will never be attainable.

In conclusion, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 is shaping up to be an epic and thought-provoking adventure that tackles complex moral dilemmas and explores the intricacies of human nature. The battle between the Titans and humanity is not just a physical one, but a psychological one. The series examines the darker aspects of humanity and makes viewers question their own beliefs and values. With excellent animation, a compelling storyline, and unforgettable characters, Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 promises to be a riveting experience that will leave viewers wanting more.
